Ready to join the VFW in Orange County? Here’s what you need to know:
- Honorable Service: You must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with an Honorable or General (Under Honorable Conditions) discharge, or be currently serving.
- Foreign Service: You must have served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters. This can be verified by:
- An authorized campaign medal
- Receipt of Hostile Fire or Imminent Danger Pay (proof needed)
- Service in Korea for 30 consecutive or 60 non-consecutive days
