The new year is a great time to focus on health and wellness. If you’re a senior resident of Manhattan Beach, or any other city in the South Bay, consider these fitness classes designed to improve your strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Mindful Stretching with Timilie (BCHD)

This class begins with stretching exercises to improve flexibility and elasticity. Stretching offers numerous benefits, including improved posture, reduced back pain, and injury prevention. The class then transitions into a mindfulness session, guiding participants through stillness with an emphasis on breath and presence. Mindfulness practices can increase vitality, reduce stress, promote inner peace, and even improve blood pressure and immune function.

Agility, Balance, and Coordination

This class focuses on improving agility, balance, and coordination through a series of fun exercises that utilize eye-hand coordination. Participants will use light weights and resistance bands to enhance their body balance and coordination.

Beginner Line Dancing with Rhonda

Dance, Flow ‘N Fun with Nicky

Improve your posture, balance, and coordination through a series of simple dance sequences. This class is designed to be fun and enjoyable, with no prior dance experience required.
