The City of Redondo Beach Senior & Family Services invites you on a journey of cultural and spiritual discovery! Join them for a guided tour of the Hsi Lai Temple in Hacienda Heights.

Discover Buddhism and Chinese Culture!

On Tuesday, May 20th, embark on a guided tour of the Hsi Lai Temple, a significant spiritual and cultural center. Spanning 15 acres with over 102,000 square feet of floor space, the temple’s Ming and Ching dynasty architecture showcases the traditional style of Chinese buildings, gardens, and ancient monasteries. Learn about Buddha’s teachings of kindness, compassion, joyfulness, and equanimity, and how they can be integrated into daily life.

• Dress Code: No sleeveless shirts/blouses, tank tops, flip flops, shorts, or short skirts.
• Photography: Allowed outdoors only.

Important Notes:

• A credit card service fee of 3% will be added to all credit and debit card payments. This fee is non-refundable.
• A $5.00 non-refundable registration fee will be applied to all registrations.
• Household Account Credits for excursions may be obtained after all reservations have been sold and only then if Community Services is able to resell your reservation.
• When excursions are canceled by the City, you will be given the option for a household account credit or refund.
