11/07/25: Hermosa Beach Seniors: Los Rios Rancho Apple Farm Excursion

Celebrate the flavors and charm of autumn with the City of Hermosa Beach Recreation Program! Seniors are invited to join this delightful excursion to Los Rios Rancho – Oak Glen Apple Farm, Southern California’s favorite fall destination.

Event Details:

Date: Friday, November 7, 2025

Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

Cost: $55 residents / $60 non-residents (includes lunch, round-trip transportation, and farm activities)

What to Expect:

Escape to Oak Glen’s scenic Mile High region for a memorable afternoon of farm-to-table dining, local history, and countryside charm. Seniors will enjoy:

• Luncheon at Wilshire’s Apple Shed with outdoor seating under oak trees, a welcome talk, and a live performance by an old-time band. Hearty fall-inspired menu, including: Slow-cooked tri-tip, BBQ chicken, Cowboy beans, Garlic roasted potatoes, Dinner roll with house-made apple butter

• Tractor tour of the Los Rios Rancho apple orchards

• Time to browse and shop in the farm store

• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Those with physical limitations must sign up with a friend or family member
• No refunds are available for this excursion
