Get ready for a thrilling day of ghostly tales, haunted landmarks, and Hollywood history!
The Manhattan Beach Older Adults (55+) Program invites you to join this exciting outing with expert guide John Daughtery, your very own “Ghostbuster.”
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Various haunted sites throughout Los Angeles
Cost: $55 residents / $61 non-residents (includes transportation and clubhouse admission; lunch is on your own at Ovation)
Registration: Opens online and in-person September 2 for residents, September 9 for non-residents. Refunds given only if the spot can be filled.
What to Expect:
Join guide John Daughtery as you explore some of Los Angeles’ most haunted locations, including:
- The Valentino Statue at DeLongpre Park
- The Roosevelt Hotel, rumored home to Marilyn Monroe’s ghost
- Mann’s Chinese Theater, where filmdom’s famous phantoms linger
- Hollywood Forever Cemetery, home to stars from the past
Lunch will be on your own at Ovation (formerly Hollywood & Highland Center), giving you a chance to refuel before continuing the spooky sightseeing adventure.
