Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom at Boisseranc Park in Buena Park

Hosted by the City of Buena Park, this annual Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom brings the community together to honor history, culture, and unity. This meaningful and uplifting event invites seniors, families, and residents to reflect on the significance of Juneteenth while enjoying an evening of entertainment, connection, and celebration.

Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: Boisseranc Park, 7520 Dale St., Buena Park, CA

This free, family-friendly event offers a variety of activities and experiences for attendees of all ages. Seniors can enjoy a relaxed and engaging environment filled with live entertainment, community interaction, and cultural appreciation.

Event highlights include:

• Community vendors and resource booths
• Food vendors
• Live entertainment
• Guest speaker
• Kids’ activity area
• Free twilight swim

A special musical performance by the Blue Breeze Band will begin at 7:00 PM, featuring a lively mix of Motown, R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, and Blues.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic items. Seating is first come, first served, and early arrival is recommended. Food trucks will also be available on-site.

Parking is available at Boisseranc Park, with additional space in designated areas. Due to high attendance, carpooling, walking, biking, or using rideshare services is encouraged.
