This August, through our Caring Hearts Loyalty Program, we’re turning our attention to the animal heroes of our community: the nonprofits working every day to rescue, protect, and care for pets in need. From keeping beloved pets with their senior owners to rescuing senior dogs and providing therapeutic pet visits, these organizations are making a real difference — and we’re proud to support them.

Los Angeles County: PAWS/LA
PAWS/LA (Pets Are Wonderful Support) helps low-income seniors and people with chronic illnesses or disabilities keep and care for their beloved pets. They provide everything from veterinary care and food to grooming and foster support — because no one should have to give up their pet due to financial hardship or health challenges.
Your support helps PAWS/LA preserve the powerful human-animal bond for vulnerable seniors across Los Angeles.
Orange County: Age Well Senior Services – Pet Care Assistance
Through its Pet Care Assistance Program, Age Well Senior Services in South Orange County helps older adults keep their pets healthy and at home. From food and basic care to access to veterinary services, this program ensures seniors never have to choose between their own needs and their pet’s well-being.

San Diego County: Frosted Faces Foundation
San Diego-based Frosted Faces Foundation specializes in rescuing and rehoming senior dogs — those who are most at risk of being overlooked in shelters. Even more heartwarming? Many of these dogs are placed with senior citizens, offering companionship, purpose, and joy to both ends of the leash.
With your help, we’re giving senior dogs and senior people the chance to find love, healing, and friendship together.

- New Clients: After 30 days of service, we donate a portion of your second month’s invoice to this month’s featured animal charities.
